 The Ultimate Tortilla Burger


Ingredients: 

1/2 pound ground round beef

1 tablespoon worcheshire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 cup diced yellow onion

1/2 cup diced NM green Chile

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese

2 tortillas, gorditas, or one medium sized


Directions: 

Mix ground beef with worscheshire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder until combined. Shape burgers pushing out from the middle until they are 1/4 inch thick and about 6 inches in diameter. Grill burgers on each side for 2 minutes. While the burgers are cooking, sauce the onion and green Chile. Heat the tortillas on the grill for 1 minute on each side, or until they are pliable and have grill marks. Now it's time to assemble! Layer each burger with green Chile onion mix and top with cheese while they are on the grill. Transfer the burgers to the tortilla, stacked on top of each other. Enjoy!
