Thanksgiving Red Chile Gravy

1. 1 ½ - 2 pounds
pork loin roast
2. 1 quart water
3. 1 teaspoon oregano
4. 1 ½-teaspoon salt
5. 2 tablespoons
canola oil

Directions:
Cook pork
roast in a pressure cooker for 2 ½ hours along with 1 teaspoon salt and
oregano. Once cooked, shred the meat and
set it aside. Heat oil on medium heat
for about a minute, next add flour and cook for another minute. Add chile carribe and stir continuously for a
couple of minutes, then add broth, water and continue stirring with a whisk
until it is smooth. Once it starts to boil,
you will know if you need to add any additional water. Now add the meat, and turn heat down to a
simmer. Cook on low for about 20
minutes. Serve immediately, or store in
the refrigerator and reheat when ready to eat.
In our household, we eat this chile on top of mashed
potatoes. It is delicious, I hope you
and your family love it! Please tag me on Instagram if you make this recipe!
