The Best Guacamole, Salsa & Green Chile Dip!

Salsa Recipe

½ medium onion, chopped in large chunks

2 serrano peppers, chopped in large pieces

1 clove garlic, chopped

1-teaspoon kosher salt

¼-cup cilantro

Juice of ½ of a lime

1 15 oz can of diced tomatoes

 

Directions:

1.  Combine onion, serrano peppers, cilantro, garlic, salt, lime and ¼ of the can of tomatoes in a chopper or   blender. 

2.  Pulse until all ingredients are mostly chopped. 

3.  Add the rest of the tomatoes and pulse until all ingredients are combined.

 

Guacamole Recipe

4 avocados

¼ of a medium onion

1 serrano pepper

1 garlic clove

1-teaspoon kosher salt

1 tablespoons cilantro

2 small tomatoes deseeded and diced

Juice from ½ of a lime

 

Directions:

 

1.  Combine onion, serrano pepper, garlic and salt into a mini chopper, or blender. 

2.  Pulse until ingredients are chopped.

3.  Deseed and dice tomatoes. 

3.  Peel and deseed avocados and add to a bowl.

4.  Mash avocados until smooth.

5.  Add mixture from chopper and tomatoes and stir together. 

6.  Add lime, and stir all ingredients to combine.

 

Green Chile Dip

 

1 ½ cup Greek yogurt, or sour cream

½ cup chopped green chile

½-teaspoon garlic

½-teaspoon onion powder

1-teaspoon kosher salt

 

Directions:

-          Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix.  For best results let sit in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the flavors to come together.
